
We had a blast this past Monday.
One of the reasons we picked our neighborhood was because it is full of great hills. We have long gradual ones that hit you and seem to kick your bootie and never end, and we also have steep short hills that rock you to the core. It's such a great natural training tool! You can attack them in so many ways.
Well we had a beautiful Austin day and the kids were outa school, and wanted to scooter.
We have one for each kiddo and an extra that was the first scooter into the family. John scootered with the kids and I ran/walked a 2 mile trek in the neighborhood.
I am a firm believer in making fitness fun for children, and for children to be active in some form or another. They had a such a good time on our exploration.

Awesome Lori! We definitely try to get the kids out and be active, but I will say we live in a very flat neighbourhood :)
