A diet here a diet there...just about everyone you talk to seems to be on a diet.
Well, my diets are a little different. I don't remember if I mentioned that my struggles are with weight gain? So, when I diet, it is not necessarily to loose weight, but to stay where I am, and "fill out" my muscles. To come "in", show ready all tight and full. So, I am not starving myself by any means! My "food porn fill" is because we always want things we cannot have. And, honestly, garbage like that won't get you the look you want on stage.
I am currently taking in 1835 cals per day. I have a high fat....(good fat) and high carb diet. So starvation is not happening. Actually what is happening is that I am overly stuffed.
If I am honest and put it out there, I have issues with food. Eating large quantities at once freak me out. A large quantity to me is probably not much to you. In a normal non competition day, I probably take in around the same amount of calories, but the quality of the calories is completely different. I will state that I am not anorexic or bulimic.
I have always had stomach problems from the time I was little and that has carried over to my adulthood causing me to be a cautious eater.
Being a figure competitor has actually helped me to be healthier and look healthier!
