I am focused, breathing, staring down at the 135lbs that I am about to dead lift, when a voice from behind me says "May I Thank You In Advance?" I spin around to see to gentlemen behind me doing bicep curls with weights loaded onto the big squat bar. Frazzled, embarrassed, and my train of thought blown, I sorta laugh as I was not sure how to really take it.
But let me tell you - especially now a days with more women in the gym sometimes then men...it's not appreciated. Nor is talking during or just before a set with the person who is about to push weights around!
However, an overall comment about how hard I work, the improvement I have made, or my serious attitude towards fitness always is!!
So, may I thank you in advance for appreciating my hard earned efforts at the gym! And for not chatting with me as do my reps. I will respect you and your sweat efforts as well.
Things are heating up as I get closer to comp time. My hubby has been super helpful in so many ways this for this show. I really feel his encouragement this time around, and think he may actually believe in me!!
Here is a quick interview from The Performace Ready Team. The excitement is building as the days get closer and closer til I get to step on the famous Arnold Stage.

Did you say anything? Wow, I would have had a little something to say, I am sure. That is the biggest reason I stopped working out in a gym, the comments from the guys.
